Faculty Recruitment Platform for Universities
The Faculty Recruitment Platform is a multi-university system for managing the recruitment and selection of academic staff. Applicants build one academic profile and use it to apply to several universities. Each university defines its own stages, committees, and selection criteria. Paramis Tech designed and developed the platform.

Challenge
Faculty recruitment usually runs into several problems:
- Applicants must re-enter their information and documents for every university
- Each university has different stages, committees, and scoring criteria
- Applicants find it hard to track the status of their application
- Committee decisions and scores are not always documented or reviewable
Universities needed a platform that makes the process unified and transparent, while letting each university keep its own workflow.
Solution
Paramis Tech designed a multi-university platform with four roles, each with its own panel:
- Single applicant profile: Identity details and academic CV are entered once and reused for applications to all universities
- University-specific workflow: Selection stages, roles, scoring criteria, and required documents defined per university
- Stage-based committee inbox: Each committee member records opinions and scores only in the stage assigned to their role
- Template-based notifications: Independent SMS templates for each stage and event, which can be enabled or disabled
- Role-based access control: Applicant, committee member, university administrator, and platform super administrator, each with separate access levels
- Auditable case files: A recorded history of decisions and scores at every stage
The applicant journey has four steps: global registration, profile and CV completion, choosing a university and department, and tracking the selection stages online.
Results
Faculty recruitment is handled in one official, unified system. Applicants apply to several universities without re-entering their data and follow their case online. Universities manage their own workflows independently, and every decision at each stage is recorded and auditable.
